To Chelsea Lyons, and the notion that the People’s Summit was “establishment as fuck.” I went ahead and addressed your concerns almost item for item as I read them in your piece.

1. You said “they alienated and disposed of the majority of third party and independent activist groups that have done work this year.”
The Illinois Green Party had a booth. Democratic socialists of America had a booth. The Justice Party had a booth. Even RoseAnn Demoro, head of the National Nurses United who was sponsoring the event, gave the Draft Bernie delegation in attendance a shout out during Bernie’s keynote. The fuck are you even talking about?

2. You said “the “diversity” of the summit is fucking nonexistent.”
According to Nina Turner and National Nurses United, 54% of the people in attendance were people of color. The fuck are you even talking about?

3. You said it was just a bunch of progressive nonprofits “pitching themselves to people who already support them instead of teaching them.”
One of the biggest themes to come out of the weekend was centered around learning and how to continue building the movement. Here are the titles of just a few of some of the breakout classroom sessions that I willing to bet anybody complaining did not attend: How to create sanctuary communities. Building a movement that will win. From knowledge to action. Nonviolent direct action. Big organizing beyond Bernie. Campaigning and governing for transformational change… should I keep going or do you get the fucking point? The fuck are you even talking about?

4. You said “they are disregarding entire issues, especially the indigenous movement that absolutely rocked the hell out of activism this year.”
One of the two movies featured at the summit was an hour and a half long documentary by Josh Fox about the Standing Rock Water Crisis that Chase Iron Eyes himself introduced. The fuck are you even talking about?

5. You said people “couldn’t afford the $300 ticket.”
Tickets had three levels of contributions that could be made. The lowest was $45 and this included breakfast, lunch and dinner for all three days of events… and you didn’t even pay for your ticket. Not only that, National Nurses United were extra accommodating for anybody who had special financial circumstances, including students and the disabled. On top of this, they arranged for lodging that was as low as $35/per night with free shuttles to and from the event center. Mind you, hotels run about $150 in Chicago. WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT?

6. You said “there hasn’t been one mention of the multitude of resistance camps across the country or the bank exit movement. Jill Stein very clearly tried to do a workshop here and they said no!”
This is a progressive conference that started last year after the Bernie Sanders movement. This is not the Jill Stein movement (who I ultimately voted for by the way). Maybe when she hosts a three day seminar with class sessions and speakers from every corner of her movement you can tell us how woke it was.

7. You said, “the resistance is not here. We weren’t invited.”
Again, YOU GOT A FREE TICKET. The fuck are you even talking about?

  1. Soooo Jim, your rebuts sound like more weak-sauce “establishment-fuckery”.

FIRST THINGS FIRST …. FOLLOW THE MONEY. Tell you what, ANYTIME “MOVE ON.ORG” is involved, I turn my back. WHY? The George Soros group(as his many other organizations)are ESTABLISHMENT SHEEP DOGS who are known for CO-OPTING grassroots efforts/organizers, just as Soros is known for co-opting governments. The People For Bernie organizers were also RUN WARREN RUN and worked for the “Working Families Party” (yet more sheep dog efforts for the establishment). ….. So whether or not someone paid $45 or $300 for their ticket, they were still in for a lovely sheep-herding experience for the establishment… in many subtle and some overt ways. (And of course they helped ppl get there… how else do you sheep dog the masses? The “ready and willing” are the most easy to “hypnotize” and brainwash. ….

The Black Agenda Report covers the summit purpose well here: https://www.blackagendareport.com/democrats-in-denial

TOPICS/BREAK-OUT SESSIONS: Fixing Our Election System?
Where were the key notes and breakouts about fixing the extreme corruption that allowed the last primary to be BLATANTLY RIGGED & STOLEN from us, the people… which then ushered in the “terrible Trump” we are all now told to RESIST? Nada. (We should have resisted during the primary then we wouldn’t need to resist now!

If we don’t FIX IT (which has been broken for decades) then OUR VOTES DON’T MATTER! Even at the local and state levels, which we have proof can be just as easily rigged and hacked. So all this “building from the bottom up stuff” is a JOKE if our election system is a joke.

If having functioning democratic processes to “vote them out” and “primary them” are NOT FUNCTIONING in favor of the PEOPLE verses the controlling establishment, how do we take our country back from the oligarchs? We don’t… because they are quickly strangling the life out of our governing laws, our economy, life necessities and our souls.

NEXT: ALT PARTIES – The few third and alternative parties that were there were given booths in the FAR BACK of the information areas. Did any of them speak? Nope. (The Dem. Socialists of America are tied to the Dem Hip, they often endorse dems, ie: Clinton, Obama, Bernie (ran as a Dem). THIS WAS A DEMOCRATIC PARTY EVENT DRESSED UP IN PRETEND PROGRESSIVE CLOTHING.

JILL STEIN – If this was truly a “PEOPLE’S” SUMMIT, then those leaders who have been championing FOR THE PEOPLE should be a part of it. (Not people like Jim Hightower who are simply “Playing Progressive” yet hitting the establishment talking points in their newsletters and speeches with an endearing little “twang”. NONE OF THE SPEAKERS SPOKE UP FOR IDENTIFYING WHAT, WHY, WHEN AND HOW the PRIMARY WAS RIGGED/STOLEN so that we can FIX OUR DEMOCRATIC ELECTORAL PROCESS. Who the hell wants to campaign, let alone vote in 2018 or 2020 to merely participate the the charade?

WHAT WE ARE SEEING is the corporate Democratic Party setting up America to LOOSE BIG… again, so the corporate Republican “wing” of the “establishment oligarchic duopoly” can continue dismantling our country to the point of assured austerity and complete slavery of the working class.

So, stop jumping all over Lyons. And stop trying to play cover for the establishment sheep-dogs. Your knee-jerk behavior either makes you incredibly ignorant of what is going on, or YOU, TOO, ARE COMPLICIT!
