    • Because Sam Seder is a MSNBC wannabee and trashes & smears progressives on his show…yet avoids criticizing the corporate media on his show because hes not a real progressive.

  1. Jacqueline Luqmon, not only does she tell it like it is, but she know history and how it pertains to current events.

  2. Definitely Myron Dewey of Digital Smoke Signals. Tirelessly covered Standing Rock and still out there educating people about indigenous rights.

  3. I would like to vote for Myron Dewey & Jacqueline Keeler but I don’t see where I can do that. These two are as free as birds when it comes to filming independently, on the fly, and down and dirty gorilla style. And they do it so well! I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks so.

  4. No indigenous reporters on your list after the MSM’s mostly nonexistent coverage of Standing Rock was basically PR for the oil industry? Reporters arrested, jailed and harassed. Illegal militarized private police using snowmobiles to drive reporters’ vehicals off icy roads. Dangerous keystone cop-like police violating FAA regs to shoot down drones, lying about it in court, protecting law breakers, arresting victims. Myron Dewey’s daily coverage and Jacqueline Keeler’s well researched reporting are both noteworthy especially considering the hardships.

  5. Hard Bastard of Hard News Network is my choice for best independent reporter. His reporting style is no nonsense and unbiased, which is why his viewers are diverse and from both ends of the political spectrum. He tackles issues that others may shy away from not for sensationalism but to encourage debate. His reports are thoroughly researched, cited and well thought out. He challenges viewers to think critically, fact check and come to their own conclusions, which demonstrates respect for his viewership. While so many in the media today want to shut down unpopular opinions either by ignoring them out right, using personal attacks, or name calling in order to silence and discourage debate, he is a strong proponent of free speech. While you may disagree with him you know he will never compromise his integrity nor the truth.

  6. Never heard of Thom Hartmann? The man that made sure Bernie Sanders was famous before he ran? He is a political commentator, like most of these others, but has written extensively and is well researched! A lot of your choices seem to just tell stories with their opinions, and are not nearly as intelligent as Thom. Caitlin Johnstone is just too hateful of everything and anyone she disagrees with, even if I happen to agree with her, she does a disservice to the left with her vitriol.

  7. Myron Dewey of Digital Smoke Signals. Tirelessly covered Standing Rock and still out there educating people about indigenous rights. Also, Jacqueline Keeler who also covered Standing Rock with integrity, grit, and persistence.

  8. I will say Jordan Chariton. I did not like his stuff when I first was aware of him, but he is the real deal. Trying to highlight pockets of injustice we would normally read about and then ignore. He is in the homes, sitting on their couch, of people being screwed by a crumbling American infrastructure in a way that Greenwald and Goodman are not, as much as they are invaluable.

  9. I see you don’t monetize your blog, don’t waste your
traffic, you can earn additional bucks every month because you’ve got high
quality content. If you want to know how to make extra money,
