Honor The Earth (an indigenous empowerment group founded by activist Winona LaDuke) teamed up with native artist NSRGNTS to create this amazing mural in Downtown Los Angeles. The mural features a male and female indigenous duo with the text “Honor The Earth” boldly splashed across a red background. The California artist has dedicated the mural to the water protectors on the front-lines in North Dakota.

The California artist was inspired by the peaceful warriors of the Red Warrior Camp who are part of the resistance camps in North Dakota fighting for the water source of the Lakota people. The water protectors/warriors in the mural wear masks to defend themselves from the chemical attacks brought on by Morton County Police and their riot police militia.
